The City of Summerset, South Dakota is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as City Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for applicants interested in serving an outstanding community during a time of growth.

Under the general policy and executive guidance from the City Commission, the City Administrator assists and/or is responsible for ensuring effective operations of the City. The City Administrator provides a conduit between day-to-day activities of the various departments, citizens and elected officials.

The City Administrator is a professional representative of the community tasked to work towards collaborative efforts for economic growth and quality municipal services to best serve its citizens.

Interested applicants will undergo a phone screen to review a detailed job description and qualifications. An in-person panel interview will follow for selected applicants. Final selection will be made by the City Commission and be contingent upon a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
